Taylor founded our firm as a passion project in 2012 to help fellow small business owners grow their brands through strategic marketing.

A native of Spartanburg, he went on to lead teams at top agencies in South Carolina’s Upstate, where he optimized the digital marketing strategies of multimillion-dollar enterprises and implemented international advertising campaigns.

However, Taylor sought deeper partnerships with his clients and the ability to make marketing more approachable and effective than larger agencies can typically facilitate. During the pandemic era, opportunities finally aligned for him to resign from his traditional job to pursue his venture full-time.

Taylor has since grown Tailored Marketing into a thriving practice that has partnered with curated clientele grounded in SC’s Upstate though also representing five additional states.

Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2011 and currently serves as president of the alumni advisory board of the George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics.

Actively involved in his hometown, Taylor volunteers with local nonprofit organizations and was honored with selection into the Leadership Spartanburg Class of 2026.
